Getting Ready for Market

by admin on April 28, 2008

May 3rd is the start of the Montpelier Farmers’ Market. Josey and Calley are our emissaries to the market and, getting ready involves more than making our caramel and packaging our eggs. This handy dandy little tent proved to be more than any of us could handle so we are back to the drawing board looking for something that one person can put up. Besides our caramel and eggs, we will be taking orders for meat which will be ready later this summer and early fall. We will also start bringing our fresh chevre cheeses once the cheese room is fully up to speed in a week or so. All this must mean it’s summer!
